Healthy Salad

For living a healthier and beautiful life, amazing food is required. What I mean here amazing in food, is food fulfiling your body needs? Are you feeling relaxed, light and comfortable? are you disease and fat-free? I mean to be here what kind of food you pick in every day of your life? green juice or coca cola, a green salad or pizza. Food is an essential part of everybody's life either a person is poor or rich, everybody needs a food. This is a primary need for any human. So if our life is so much dependent on food then why we can't pick a healthy food? I am telling this from my personal experience of how I have changed my food habits and how my medical reports got improved. I haven't changed my food habits overnight. I still eat junk and unhealthy food but I always been in practising every day to get rid of this habit permanently. I always make a list for a complete week for food routine and I try to follow the list with honesty. I still make lots of mistakes while this process but improving day by day. You have to decide you want a healthy, happy, positive life or something else which not suites in your life. If you are in your normal size and healthy then that is the sign of your health path and I must say I am on the right path

 

I would like to share a few steps which I learned in my food journey and I can say, found success in the process because I lose weight, health improvements, positivity, happy and peaceful life.  

 

Importance of the food and food routine: We all know how much is an important food for our life. Everybody is living for food, making money for food and struggling a lot, especially country like India and food is also a part of our lifestyle. When I started more research on food then I found shocking results, On this planet, 820 million chronically hungry people and 1/3rd of the hungry live in India. Over 20 crore Indians sleep hungry every night. Around 25 Lakhs die of hunger every year. But a higher percentage of the wastage of food also in India. Here my intention is not spreading the negativity, My intention has only spread the awareness about food, healthy and happy life. I am passionate about happy life and somehow this is related to our life which is impacting on our daily lifestyle and not creating a healthy society. For a good lifestyle and healthy society, we should understand each other and help those people who are really struggling for food.

I would say here routine is as important as our food. Routine not only for food but for everything like morning routine, work routine, night routine etc. Routine creates a happy environment for yours and for others who are in your surroundings. I always follow the routine for everything, the same wise I have a food routine too and it helps me to keep in shape, healthy and happy. Here I would like to share my food routine with you. Please check it below hope it will help you with your food routine.

 

Food Routine:

Wake up: 1 Glass of water

Empty stomach: A boiled water with 3 basil leaves and Cinnamon

Breakfast: Almond milk smoothie or Green Juice with (granola/ salty oats/fruits/quinoa/chickpea salad)

Mid Morning: Tea/ 1 vegan cookie 

Lunch: Salad, Brown Rice, Lentils, Vegetables/ Sometimes Indian roti 

Mid Evening: Tea/ 1 vegan cookie 

Dinner: Pasta/ Green salad

Before Sleep: Apple cider vinegar

 

I change regularly my food in my routine, above one is not always meal, sometimes I pick quinoa or oats in lunch, I also try different recipes for dinner and lunch, I pick Indian food too because I am an Indian Punjabi. Indian food is my favourite food, like rarely in the morning I pick Punjabi breakfast especially on weekends and sometimes I eat junk but junk I pick twice or once a year when I celebrate something very special with my family and partner. 

 

In a nutshell, I pick the healthiest food on the planet earth which is given by universe.

 

Daily required food for a healthy body: There are daily required food which is essential for the body. The body needs energy every day so this is our duty to love and respect our body with the energetic food. There are a few foods which I always try to take every day for fulfilling the body needs. Love and appreciate your body, if you will love your body, the body will embrace you with kind and love. Don't give your body a trash and junk food. How you will get happiness if you are not giving happiness to your body. Promise to your body you will always give happiness to your body. Don't listen to those thoughts which always try to drag you from your purpose. Listen to only positive and good thoughts and follow them. Practice this terms and you will be the happiest person ever. I am only sharing that list which I prefer to eat and research goes on. There are below list which is required for a healthy body:

 

  1. Protein: Tofu, Lentils, beans, rolled oats, Quinoa, green peas, spinach, chia seeds, hemp seeds, Peanut butter, nutritional yeast, Almond milk

  2. Calcium: Black beans, Tofu, Fortified orange juice, Almond milk, white beans, Brokely, Almonds

  3. Omega 3: Chia seeds, Flax seeds, Hemp seeds, Walnuts, Tofu

  4. Selenium: Brazil nuts, Brown rice, sunflower seeds, Mushrooms, Boiled beans, Oatmeal, Spinach, Yogurt, Lentils, Cashews, Bananas

  5. Magnesium: Dark Chocolate, Avocados, Nuts(Almonds, Cashews, Brazil nuts), Legumes(Lentils, chickpeas, beans, peas), Tofu, Seeds(Chia seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds), Whole grains(Quinoa, Buckwheat), Bananas

  6. Iron: Green Leafy vegetables(Spinach, broccoli), Lentils and beans, Dried fruit, Grains

  7. Fats: Coconut Oil, Extra virgin Olive oil, Nuts, Dark Chocolate, Chia seeds, Full fat yoghurt

  8. Vitamins: Vitamin A to K food

  • Vitamin A Foods: carrots, sweet potatoes, apricots, spinach 

  • Vitamin B Foods: B12 supplements, Morning cereal, Almond milk, Fruit Juice

  • Vitamin C Foods: papaya, citrus fruits, strawberries, bell peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, dark leafy greens

  • Vitamin D Foods: Vitamin D supplements, Plant-based milk

  • Vitamin E Foods: Sunflower seeds and almonds, spinach, bell pepper

  • Vitamin K Foods: Spinach, romaine lettuce, parsley, Brussels sprouts, broccoli​
